Instructions for Face

MirrorMe3D
Position
  • Face should occupy around 60% of the image width.
  • Full face and neck should be captured.
Frontal
  • Nose should be in the center of the image.
  • Both ears should be equally visible.
Profile
  • Cheek should be in the center of the image.
  • Only one eye and one eyebrow visible.
  • Full body should be rotated 90° from frontal photo to avoid rotation of the neck or head.
Tips
  • Face should maintain a neutral expression (closed mouth, no smile, etc) with eyes kept open and no glasses.
  • No facial hair (eg beard) and no hair hanging over the face.
  • Ears should be uncovered and clearly visible.
  • Face should be free from any jewelry (earrings, necklaces, piercings, etc).
  • Neck should remain uncovered and clearly visible (eg no high neck shirt).

Incorrect postures

  • For profile photos, neck should not be rotated while maintaining same body posture as for frontal photo.
  • Face should not be too far nor too close to the camera.
  • Both eyes or both eyebrows should not be visible on profile photos.

Camera position

  • Camera should be held perpendicular to the face.
  • Photos should be shot with camera at 2m or 6 feet from the face.

Technical details

  • Colored images are required with sufficient and homogenous illumination.
  • We highly recommend using a flash.
  • Image should be in JPEG format when uploading.
  • Photos shot with ‘Portrait’ orientation.
  • Image resolution should be minimum 700 pixels.

You can use any digital camera, iPad or smartphone.

Instructions for Breast

MirrorMe3D
Simple Instructions
  • Minimum neck to waist with no hair hanging.
  • With identical zoom and patient posture (arms & body should maintain exactly the same posture for the 3 photos).
  • Homogenous background, ideally blue.
  • Clear view of the side of the body.
Recommendations
  • No jewelry and no hair hanging on body.
Incorrect postures
  • For profile photos, neck should not be rotated while maintaining same body posture as for frontal photo.
  • Face should not be too far nor too close to the camera.
Frame distance
  • Camera should be held perpendicular to the face
  • Photos should be shot with camera at 2 meters or 6 feet from the face & using a zoom in order to capture the full perspective of the face, including ears.
  • Face should occupy around 60% of the image width.
  • Full face and neck should be captured.
Tips
  • Colored images are required with sufficient and homogenous lighting.
  • “Portrait” orientation NOT “Landscape”.
  • Image should be in JPEG format when uploading.

Instructions

MM3D and crisalix have joined together to make 3D printing simple. In order to obtain a print, click on the 3D print tab on the crisalix site. A print ID for each of the images you are interested in will be generated. Enter the print ID code below to shop for products.

Instructions

MM3D can provide prints from most standard 3D cameras systems, including Canfield, Di3D, 3DMD, and others. In order to obtain a print, click on our shop page. You will be able to upload all the necessary files directly and shop for products.

Size of uploaded files can not exceed 20MB, for larger files, please compress to .zip format before uploading.

Compression Instructions
  1. Locate the file or folder that you want to compress.
  2. Windows users right-click the file or folder, point to Send to, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder. Mac OS X users, right-click the file or folder and click on Compress "File Name".
  3. A new compressed folder is created in the same location.
